Spinning Wheel This room contained all the implements for laboriously making clothing. Along one wall stood a chest. Four figures and a horse were painted on the inside of the top of the chest. It contained wool preparation tools: for carding, spinning, and weaving. Next to the chest and directly in front of the window, stood this wonderful spinning wheel, with the woven basket behind holding other tools of the trade. |
